The Q70 connects the airport with major transit points in Queens and has operated fare-free since 2022. From Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Avenue, you can connect to multiple subway lines for Manhattan.
This is one of the best-value airport transfers in New York because the airport bus portion is free and you only pay the normal subway fare for the onward trip.
Q70 + LIRR from Woodside
The Q70 also connects with Woodside, where Long Island Rail Road service can be useful for reaching Manhattan rail hubs. This option can be faster than the subway in some cases, though it costs more.
Taxi and ride-hail
LaGuardia is geographically close to Manhattan, which makes cars appealing when road conditions cooperate. The difference between light traffic and peak congestion can be substantial.
