For Manhattan visitors, this usually makes the subway easier than driving, parking and navigating event traffic around Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues.
Choose the neighborhood extension before the event
Park Slope works well for a neighborhood walk, Fort Greene for restaurants and brownstone streets, and Prospect Heights for a route toward Prospect Park or museums.
The arena is a better experience when the surrounding Brooklyn time is planned rather than treated as empty waiting.
